At Stevens Home Solutions, I believe in keeping things simple, transparent, and respectful of your time and budget. That’s why every project begins with a free, no-strings-attached consultation. My goal is to make sure you feel confident from the start, with a clear understanding of what to expect and how I can help. Whether it’s a small repair or a larger home improvement project, I take the time to understand your goals, explain your options, and guide you through each step of the process. No pressure. Free Initial Consultations
Let’s talk about your project! Most consultations can be done easily over FaceTime or Google Meet, which helps streamline the planning process and get your project on the calendar sooner.
If your project involves more than what can be seen on a screen, I’m happy to come out for an in-person consultation. In fact, I really enjoy meeting clients face-to-face—it’s never a problem. Whatever works best to make sure we’re all on the same page from the very beginning.
Project-Based Pricing
I don’t nickel and dime you with hourly rates. Instead, I price everything as a flat project fee. While the estimate is based on roughly $50 per hour, I bundle the work into one clear, upfront quote that covers the entire job. No hidden charges. No surprise fees. Just a price you can count on from the start.
This approach keeps things simple and helps us both stay focused on the work—not the clock.
Deposits & Materials
To get your project officially on the books, I typically require a 50% deposit for labor. If your project needs materials or supplies that I purchase on your behalf, the cost of those will either:
• Be paid upfront along with the labor deposit, or
• Be reimbursed at the end of the project, before I leave the premises.
Either way, I’ll walk you through the breakdown so you know exactly what’s due and when—no guesswork—just clear communication every step of the way.

Every project comes with a clear, written contract. It protects both of us by laying out the scope of work, the timeline, and the total cost upfront—so there are no surprises.
If anything unexpected comes up along the way—like termite damage, black mold, or something that requires a specialist—I’ll pause the work, explain what’s going on, and help bring in the right experts before moving forward. These situations don’t happen often, but when they do, I believe in handling them the right way: with honesty, transparency, and your full involvement.
